1. Introduction
Welcome to DaimaPay. By using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Service Description
DaimaPay is an online airtime purchase platform that enables users in Kenya to top up Safaricom, Airtel, and Telkom lines using M-Pesa. All transactions are processed through secure payment integrations.
3. Eligibility and Account Registration
You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a guardian to use this platform. You are responsible for the accuracy of any mobile numbers or details you provide.
3.1 Reseller and Corporate Account Registration
To register for a Reseller or Corporate account, you must:
- Provide accurate and complete personal information
- Submit clear, high-quality images of both sides of your National ID
- Ensure all provided information matches your official identification documents
- Agree to our KYC verification process
3.2 Know Your Customer (KYC) Requirements
Why We Collect KYC Information:
DaimaPay collects KYC information for legitimate business and regulatory compliance purposes:
- Regulatory Compliance: To comply with Kenyan financial services regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) laws, and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements
- Identity Verification: To verify the identity of individuals and businesses using our platform
- Fraud Prevention: To prevent identity theft, fraudulent account creation, and unauthorized transactions
- Platform Security: To protect the integrity of our services and ensure a secure environment for all users
- Risk Management: To assess and manage risks associated with account usage and transactions
KYC Data Collection:
- We collect your full name, contact information, email address, phone number, and National ID number
- We require clear, high-quality images of both the front and back sides of your National ID
- All KYC documents are stored securely in encrypted cloud storage
- KYC documents are accessible only to authorized administrative personnel for verification purposes
Account Approval Process:
- All new registrations are subject to administrative review and approval
- Your account will be in "pending approval" status until reviewed by our team
- You will receive an email notification once your registration is approved or rejected
- If rejected, you will be provided with a reason and may submit a new registration
- You cannot log in or use the platform until your account is approved
Data Retention and Security:
- KYC documents are retained in accordance with regulatory requirements and our data retention policy
- All KYC data is protected using industry-standard encryption and security measures
- We do not share KYC documents with third parties except as required by law or regulatory authorities
- You have the right to request access to or deletion of your KYC data, subject to regulatory retention requirements
Your Consent:
By submitting your registration and KYC documents, you consent to:
- The collection, storage, and processing of your KYC information for verification purposes
- The review of your KYC documents by authorized administrative personnel
- The retention of your KYC data as required by law and regulatory compliance
- The use of your KYC information for fraud prevention and security purposes
4. Account Status and Access
Your account access is subject to the following:
- Pending Approval: New registrations require administrative approval before account activation. You cannot log in or use the platform until your account is approved.
- Approved Accounts: Once approved, you can access all platform features and services.
- Rejected Registrations: If your registration is rejected, you will be notified with a reason. You may submit a new registration after addressing the issues mentioned.
- Suspended Accounts: We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate our terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a security risk.
5. Payments
All airtime purchases are prepaid and completed through M-Pesa. Once payment is confirmed, airtime is dispatched to the provided mobile number. Ensure the number and amount are correct before confirming.
6. Refund Policy
DaimaPay does not offer refunds for successful transactions. If an error occurs (e.g. wrong number, failed airtime delivery), please contact our support team within 24 hours at support@daimapay.com.
7. Use Restrictions
You agree not to misuse the platform, engage in fraudulent activity, or attempt unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend accounts or block access if misuse is detected. Providing false or misleading KYC information may result in immediate account suspension and legal action.
8. Data Privacy and KYC Information
We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your KYC information responsibly:
- All KYC information is collected solely for legitimate business and regulatory compliance purposes
- We do not use KYC data for marketing or share it with third parties except as required by law
- KYC documents are stored securely with encryption and restricted access
- You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your KYC data, subject to regulatory requirements

9. Limitation of Liability
DaimaPay and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. We are not responsible for network delays or M-Pesa service issues.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated Terms.
